In 1988/89, I tried to keep the enthusiasm alive by starting up the Honda 600 Fan Club and publishing a quarterly news letter and hosting road rallies, but in the Summer of 1989 the interest died out to the point I could not keep busy just working on these cars, so I needed to move on and find a better line of work.

I wanted to involve all those who are into these littl cars, even if they are my competition. I hosted Blaine's car on the cover, who runs B&B Automotive. They had been working on these cars longer than I had begun in late 1981.
