Midsummer/Litha

Midsummer, or Litha (pronounced lee-tha), comes around on the Summer Solstice,
which is on one of the dates from June 20^th-23^rd depending on the year.
The Summer Solstice is the peak of the sunlight in the Northern Hemisphere,
hence this is the time when the God reaches his full light, giving his full energy
to the womb of the Mother for the continuance of life,
knowing full well that his energy is spent, he must now change.
