Hello Jezz-Guys,
My name is Arturo Vega from Mexico City, I have 24 years and this is my story of how I've reached my JezzBall record.
I bought some diskettes
one day, and there was a 'bonus disk' with some Microsoft games including JezzBall, I played some on my computer a little.A few months ago I went to a new computer project in my work
, and I needed some kind of 'distraction' while some computer processes were running, so I take this 'bonus disk' and copy JezzBall to the computer. A guy that also used the same computer found the game and started to play, soon we were in some kind of competition. Both of us were JezzBall amateurs
, but we were committed to beat each other; I practice a little and I beat him, but when he told me to visit www.jezzball.com, I saw the top 20 records, and I was surprised with the huge records I found there. I read some tips from the webpage and practice more and more, reaching 4 million games. The last year I visited the doctor
, and she said to me that it's necessary a nose surgery, so this year I took advantage of holidays and got the nose surgery. In the following days I couldn't use the computer but as soon as I could use it, I started to play some JezzBall. It was 1 week of intensive playing, I started in the morning and pause the game late in the night. After finishing some times level 49
, I started to capture all the screens using a special commercial-software to capture only a screen region (snag-it) and I now I have the last 104 pictures of my game. First I thought I could stand for a place in the top 45 list, but I played harder and harder to find a place in the top 20 list, so I wrote down all the records in a piece of paper, and started to put a line over each record I have reached. My highest bonus point were 637,328 with 43 lives remaining in level 49. I wanted to get the perfect game but I couldn't,
so now I have my own record: 50,257,913Special thanks to: Gonzalo, Lucy, Liz, Gina and all who make this possible.
To new Jezz-friends: patience is the key!
